  The CRC or cyclic redundancy check is a widely used technique for error checking in many protocols used in data transmission. The main aim of this project is to design the CRC RTL generator or a tool that calculates the CRC equations for the given CRC polynomials and generates the Verilog RTL code .This block deals with the calculation of equations for standard polynomials like CRC-8, CRC-16, CRC-4, CRC-32 and CRC-64, CRC-32 and also user defined proprietary polynomial. Use PERL as the platform it also aims at having a simpler user interface and generate the RTLs for any data width and for any standard polynomial or user defined polynomial, and this design aims to be complete generic. RTLs generated by this tool are verified by System Verilog constrained random testing to make it more robust and reliable.

  Ceramic composites are considered as the next generation of advanced materials due to their high hardness, excellent chemical and mechanical stability under a broad range of temperature, and high specific stiffness. However, these materials are difficult to machine in conventional machining because of their high strength and complexity in shapes. Electric discharge machining (EDM) has been proven as an alternate process for machining complex and intricate shapes from the conductive ceramic composites. In present study, process parameters namely current (I), pulse on time (ton), and pulse off time (toff) are optimized with the considerations of multi responses such as Material Removal Rate, Electrode wear Rate. The experiments were conducted according to an L9 orthogonal array. The parameters are optimized using Taguchi method.

  Congestion in on-chip networks may cause many drawbacks in multiprocessor systems including throughput reduction, increase in latency, and additional power consumption. Furthermore, conventional congestion control methods, employed for on-chip networks, cannot efficiently collect congestion information and distribute them over the on-chip network. In this paper, we present an on-chip network architecture that incorporates a novel agent-based management method to enhance the reliability and performance of network-based Chip Multi-Processor (CMP) and System-on-Chip (SoC) designs against traffic congestion on the network.

  We have seen over the years that the process of manual attendance has been carried out across almost all educational institutions. The process is not only time consuming but also sometimes inefficient resulting in the false marking of attendance. Today, we need not maintain pen and paper based attendance registers. Following this thought, we have proposed an attendance marking and calculation system which is implemented on Android mobile application integrating biometric scanner that communicates with the database and verification can be achieved. This Android application will give the students information on attendance and change in timetable if any whereas the biometric scanner is used for verification, authentication and to avoid proxy.
