Pages: 100 - 106
Image Inpainting is the art of filling in missing data in an image. The purpose of inpainting is to reconstruct missing regions in a visually plausible manner so that it seems reasonable to the human eye. There have been several approaches proposed for the same. The objective of this paper is to review three such methods – Texture synthesis, Convolution and Exemplar based Algorithm. Texture synthesis can be used to fill in holes in images, create large non-repetitive background images and expand small pictures. Convolution based image inpainting algorithms are very rapid, however in many cases; they don't provide adequate results in sharp details such as edges. Exemplar-based methods provide impressive results in recovering textures and repetitive structures. However, their ability to recreate the geometry without any example is limited and not well understood. This paper summarizes the combination of these algorithms and proposes a new Hybrid Inpainting Algorithm for inpainting large as well as small regions in less time. Future aspects of the study are also discussed.

Pages: 107 - 115
A mass gathering is an essential important aspect of modern society. There are various types of gatherings where thousands of people actively participate. A mass gathering is an effortless way to interact and socialize among the various groups of people. There are various challenges that usually come across while conducting an event which leaves an undesirable impact on the environment. This paper discusses the environmental management in a mass gathering by taking a case study of Maha Kumbh 2013 at Prayag, India. By analyzing the data and information collected regarding the event, a conclusion can be drawn that although such gatherings can entail significant health risks, but there are ways of curbing the ill effects. Also some technological advancement in the field of treatment has made, which can be implemented in other rallies, political events, sporting events, conferences, award ceremonies, other religious gatherings like Haj, Rath Yatra, fairs and fates etc.

Automated Functional Test Case Prioritization for Increased Rate of Fault Detection

Computer Science and Engineering
Year: 2014, Volume:1, Issue : 7
Pages: 116 - 122
Testing plays important role in Software Development Life Cycle. Test Case Prioritization explains how the Test Cases are executed in particular order to achieve certain goals specified by the clients. In previous Fine Grained technique is used to prioritize the test cases. This process is done in random order, due to this Fault Detection Rate is going to be decreased. Our main aim is to increase the fault detection rate, then only we can rectify errors as many as possible which leads to fast delivery of project. Here prioritization process is going to be done between Test cases. Due to this there is no proper order of execution among the test cases, that which test case should execute first. In this paper we are going to use Coarse Grained technique based on Functional coverage to perform prioritization among the test suites rather than test cases. Test suite is the collection of the test cases that are dependent on each other. We are focusing on Functional test suites which means how much extent the test suites are dependent on each other. In previous some authors performed prioritization technique on real time systems and they generated Datasets for those systems. We are going to use those Datasets as reference to our project and we are calculating DSP volume, DSP Height and APFD. With this output we can identify that which test suite should execute first and we can also reduce the repeated execution of test suites.

Year: 2014, Volume:1, Issue : 7
Pages: 123 - 126
The thermal performance of an automotive radiator plays an important role in the performance of an automobile's cooling system and all other associated systems. For a number of years, this component has suffered from little attention with very little changing in its manufacturing cost, operation and geometry. As opposed to the old tubular heat exchangers currently form the backbone of today's process industry with their advanced performance reading levels tubular heat exchangers can only dream of. This review focuses on the various research papers regarding CFD analysis to improve automobile radiator efficiency. The aim of this paper is study about the effect Various parameters like Shape of radiator core, direction flow of working fluid, frontal area of radiator, Space between fins, space between tube, fin & tube size, coolant mass flow rate, material of fins, pitch of tube, velocity of fluid, air inlet temperature are kept in mind to improve automobile radiator efficiency and find optimized geometry from above parametric analysis.Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) programme were directed comparing the heat transfer & pressure drop of heat exchanger with different parameters for optimum performance. CFD results have high correlation level with the actual experimental results. Various results suggest that CFD have been proved very effective in reducing concept-to-production time and cost.

Year: 2014, Volume:1, Issue : 7
Pages: 127 - 131
Data mining can find the significant chances of frequency between two datasets. It is useful for obtaining knowledge full information from the datasets. It is possible to find significant frequency changes between multiple datasets. This type of knowledge mining is known as Contrast mining. Pattern which is present in one dataset has low frequency and at another dataset it has more frequency then it is known as Emerging Pattern. When pattern is absent in one dataset and present at another dataset then is known as Jumping emerging pattern. Emerging pattern has different types based on significant frequency changes between different datasets. In this paper Generalized EP, CART-based EP, DeEP are mentioned. Classification aims to discover model from training data which is used to predict the class of training instances. Different EP-based classifiers are used to define the class to emerging patterns. Various classification algorithms like border based EP, Constraint base EP, Bayesian Classification by Emerging Pattern are used for classification of training instances.

A Survey on Peer to Peer Network Attacks and Defenses

Computer Science & Engineering
Year: 2014, Volume:1, Issue : 7
Pages: 136 - 141
This chapter provides introduction for peer-to-peer network, attacks on peer-to-peer network and defensive techniques for solving those attacks. A Network is any collection of independent computers that communicate with one another over a shared network medium. In peer-to-peer (p2p) network is a way of structuring distributed applications such that the individual nodes have symmetric roles. Peer-to-peer network having no any hierarchy that means all peers are equal and no administrator responsible for the network. There is a several kinds of attacks in peer-to-peer network. In Sybil attack, Attacker create Fake Identities on p2p network either to gain better reputation or increase download capabilities or take entire control over network. A faulty node may present multiple identities to a peer-to-peer network and then after becoming part of the p2p network and act maliciously. By multiple identities, the faulty node can control the network substantially.

Year: 2014, Volume:1, Issue : 7
Pages: 142 - 146
In Big Data analysis Semantic Web Large data analysis is an important topic in cloud computing that are used particularly using RDF. This has positioned the issue of scalable data processing techniques for RDF as a vital issue in the Semantic Web research community. The RDF data model is a fine-grained model representing associations as binary relations. Thus, responding queries over RDF data requires several join operations to reassemble related data. While MapReduce based processing is emerging as the Map and Reduce paradigm for processing large scale data. In addition, most of the existing techniques for optimizing RDF data handing out do not transfer well to the MapReduce model and often require significant lead time for pre-processing. MapReduce is a programming structure in cloud computing to compute data analysis in parallel. We suggests three concepts. First data are filtered primary according to the query statements. Second, the filtered data are sent to its equal worker according to the join expression for advanced level parallelism. Each worker then performs the corresponding join operation after acceptance of the filtered data. Finally, we aggregate the result by using aggregate functions specific in the select clause.

Year: 2014, Volume:1, Issue : 7
Pages: 150 - 154
A Morph Analyzer is a software tool which is used to detect morphemes from given sentence and provides grammatical analysis of each word present in the sentence. Morph analyzer is one of the essential tools for natural language processing and it is used for applications like machine translation. Lots of work has been reported in this field of morph analyzer for the foreign languages as well as some Indian languages. Previously for developing morph analyzer, both supervised and unsupervised methods had been tried. In this paper we compare various existing methods like Rule based Method, Suffix Stripping method, Finite state transducer approach and machine learning method. Then we also compare existing methods with respect to Gujarati language based on various parameters and check feasibility of implementing morph analyzer for Gujarati with each method.
