Pages: 420 - 423
The internet is being integrated into nearly every aspect of daily life of individuals. Social networks are made up of user profiles which are a collection of user’s personal data and its relation to other users. Many relations between users are based on trust but trust and privacy are not captured and presented in profiles and personalized recommendations. An efficient privacy protection mechanism is important for OSNs that can be used to protect the privacy of online social relationships and users’ data from third parties. Post sharing is one of the important aspects of an online social network. Sharing such data requires security. Unfortunately, it may reveal users’ privacy if they are allowed sharing a photo freely. There must be some mechanism that enables the user to participate in decision- making the activity of user post who can able to view when his\her friends sharing the post. In this work, we propose a set intersection rule and cosine similarity for a privacy preserving manner.

Year: 2016, Volume:2, Issue : 11
Pages: 424 - 429
In this paper, a novel transformer-less adjustable voltage quadruple solar dc–dc converter with high-voltage transfer gain and reduced value of settling time & semiconductor voltage stress by using (FLC) fuzzy logic controller is proposed. The proposed topology utilizes input-parallel output-series configuration for providing a much higher voltage gain. The proposed converter cannot only achieve high step-up voltage gain with reduced component count but also reduce the voltage stress of both active switches and diodes. This will allow one to choose lower voltage rating MOSFETs and diodes to reduce both switching and conduction losses. In addition, due to the charge balance of the blocking capacitor ,the features of converter provides automatic uniform current sharing characteristic of the two interleaved phases without adding extra circuitry or complex control methods. By using fuzzy logic controller the output voltage of the proposed converter can improve with reducing the settling time. The output part is connected to the PMSM through which we can calculate stator current & rotor speed of the machine & uses in many applications. The operation principle and steady analysis as well as a comparison with other recent existing high step-up topologies are presented. Finally, some simulation and experimental results are also presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed converter.

Pages: 435 - 440
In the present day construction industry in developing countries, concrete has emerged as the most common building material. Hence careful consideration must be given to factors that affect its strength. For sand having above 3.4% of clay content used in a 1:1: 2 (M-25) mix of concrete resulted in the production of concrete with compressive strength less than 25 N/mm2.Therefore, this work was conducted to investigate the amount of cement needed for sand samples with varying amount of clay/silt cement from 0% to 10% to produce concrete with compressive strength not less than 25 N/mm2 for mix 1:1:2.The sieved clay/silt is added to each of the parts of the washed sand from 1% to 10% by weight of the sand. The amount of cement necessary to be added to each part of the sand with varying cement content of clay/silt 1% to 10%, so as to achieve minimum strength of 25 N/mm2 for the mix ratio 1:1:2 was determined. It was discovered that the higher the clay/silt content, the compressive strength of concrete is decreases. It is concluded that the higher amount of cement dosage is needed to maintain the compressive strength of concrete.

Plastic is one of the daily increasing useful as well as a hazardous material. At the time of need plastic is found to be very useful, but after its use, its simply thrown away, creating all kinds of hazards. Plastic is not bio degradable, so it will continue to be hazardous for more than centuries. The idea of this paper is to find a use for this waste plastic scrap into something beautiful. The mixing of plastic with sand to create a new type of brick was put into thought. Since it is uneconomical to approach a local brick manufacturer for lending the machine, we designed and fabricated a brick manufacturing machine in the nearby engineering workshop. The machine was designed so as to fulfil our need for manufacturing brick in small quantity. The plastic scrap used was leftover pieces of bottles, cans etc. So, as a trial the plastic was chopped into small pieces and heat was supplied from below. Into the molten plastic paste, M- sand was added in suitable proportions. The paste contained noting more than M-sand, plastic and thermocol. After thorough mixing, the paste was poured into a rectangular mould with standard brick dimensions. The paste took only 20 minutes to settle and harden. Cooling of the set was done by water cooling and after 5 more minutes the brick was extracted from the mould. It had a dark grey texture and increased weight by the initial analysis. Local brick testing methods were conducted such as free fall of the brick and scratch test. In both of those tests, our brick showed increased strength. The brick was subjected to compressive test, water absorption test and efflorescence test. The results showed promise, that the Plastic Composite Brick was efficient than the clay brick and cement brick.
