  Online Social Network is a platform to make social relationship between people who share information. Twitter, Facebook etc. are the most popular OSN we are familiar with. Various types of data can be shared such as pictures, music, video etc., through the social networking sites. We can post messages like greetings, wishes or any other type of messages on other user’s wall. Spam messages are irrelevant or unsolicited messages sent over the Internet. Today’s OSN suffers from the problem that unwanted messages can be posted. This should prevent to keep a user’s account secure. There are many mechanisms related to this are provided but no content based mechanisms are there. In Facebook, we can block another user. The message may contain unwanted contents. If the user is not able to access the account, the message will be posted to the wall. Here a message filtering mechanism is used to keep unwanted message away from the user wall. So that the message will be posted based on user preferences.

• Secure Image Transmission via Mosaic Images using Genetic Algorithm

  A technique for secure image transmission is proposed, that transforms a secret image into a secret-fragment-visible mosaic image using Genetic Algorithm. The created mosaic image looks similar to a randomly selected target image which is used as a mask of the secret image. Mosaic image is obtained by dividing the secret image into fragments and fitting these tile fragments into the blocks of the target image. Genetic Algorithm is used to generate a mapping sequence for tile-block fitting. After the tiles are fitted into the target image, color characteristics of tile images are transformed to be those of the corresponding blocks of the target image. A lossless data hiding scheme using a key is used for embedding the secret image recovery information into the created mosaic image. The recovery of the secret image is by using the same key and the tile-block mapping sequence. The use of Genetic Algorithm results in better clarity of the retrieved secret image.

  The main theme of this paper is to explain the design and implementation of an Intelligent Condition based Soil Moisture Control System to overcome the prevailing problems in Indian agricultural irrigation system. The system is low cost and reliable in its operation giving the user the flexibility to monitor and control the soil moisture either being near to the system or through remote access using a DTMF decoder circuitry. A remotely located visual studio based GUI software ensures proper statistical and graphical analysis of the sensor outputs acquired by the microcontroller. A radio frequency communication link allows wireless data transactions between the designed system and the remotely located GUI software. The remotely acquired data by the GUI application over a RF communication link can be further preserved in databases like Microsoft Excel, Access etc. and can be logged on to the internet for global access.
