  Electrical discharge machining (EDM) is one of the advanced methods of machining. EDM is best option for extremely difficult hard materials and complicated geometry materials which are very difficult to machine. The main aim of this work is to develop electrode for natural leaf shape of microchannel heat sink to reduce fabrication time and investigated the single response parameter optimization on EDM machine for microchannel heat sink of Aluminium 6061 .The performance of microchannel is depend upon parameters of machining is selected during fabrication. The optimal set of process parameters such as current, pulse ON and OFF time in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) process were used to study the response of single parameter such as rate of material removal and surface roughness value on the Aluminium 6061 work piece material. The methodology based on orthogonal array Taguchi’s analysis of variance (ANOVA) and signals to noise ratio (S/N Ratio) were employed to optimize the performance characteristics like material removal rate and surface roughness of Aluminium 6061.

  In the era of the information age students grow in a digital environment. Information technologies are entwined in their daily life, never separating. Smart devices such as smartphones, tablets, e-readers and palm computers are devices used by students worldwide for academic purposes. These smart devices have proven their efficiency as instructional tools in the world wide academic environment by enriching and intensifying the learning experience and significantly improving students' achievements around the world. The present study has two objectives: the first objective is to explore the way students cope when encountering difficulty whilst using a smart device for academic purposes, and to explore their attitudes towards academic use of these devices. The second objective of this research is to identify the connections between the factors that affect the scope of academic use of smart devices. The study was conducted in Israel using the quantitative method; data was collected via survey questionnaires and statistical analyses. The population of subjects included 146 bachelor and master students from two academic institutions. The results indicate that the student's way of coping was characterized more in a way of problem solving, rather than emotionally. Also it was found that the students' attitudes towards academic use of smart devices are gender related, with the female students possessing slightly more positive attitudes than the males. The first research hypothesis claimed that those who tend to cope with the problems less emotionally and turned toward problem solving would have more favourable attitudes towards the smart devices and would make more use of them for academic purposes. This hypothesis was not confirmed, rather the findings show just the opposite – those students who handled the problems on a more emotional level tended to show more positive attitudes than those who coped by problem solving. The second research hypothesis stated that the more positive the positions of the students, the greater their preference towards a specific device and the greater the academic use of the device. This hypothesis was confirmed.

  Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a one of the most important and reputed Indian traditional medicinal plant. Multiple shoot in vitro culture of Ashwagandha plants in two nutrient basal medium (i.e.in MS and B5 basal medium) were experimental established by using nodal excised small segments as explants. The hormonal combinations and mixture of BAP, 2,4-D and NAA not only enhanced there in vitro morphogenetic response but also differentially increases the level of bio-generation or biological production of withanolide A through in vitro shoots formation in two basal nutrient medium. Withanolide-A, that was normally present in high quantity and high proportion in the aerial region and parts of Ashwagandha (explants source) which is propagated and grown in field and now it is proof that their concentration regularly increased in the in vitro shoot or stem cultures by nodal excised segments of the Withania somnifera plant. The productivity and isolation of withanolide-A in the in vitro cultures varied and fluctuates between 0.014 - 0.14 mg/gram of fresh weight of Withania plant with the alternatively change in the growth hormone composition and concentration of the nutrient culture basal media as well as its genotype used as important source of the excised explants.

  Magneto rheological (MR) fluids have been investigated to be of much importance due to their magneto rheological dependant properties. Magneto Rheological is a branch of rheology that deals with the flow and deformation of the materials under an applied magnetic field. These types of materials change their rheological properties under the application of magnetic field applied and turn from liquid to solid in just few seconds. MR fluid is the colloidal suspension of micron sized, polarizable magnetic particles (iron metal particle) in the magnetically neutral carrier fluid (low viscosity paraffin oil / silicon oil) whose viscosity can be varied from liquid to semisolid with the help of magnetic field. Magneto rheological (MR) fluid technology has been proven for many industrial applications like shock absorbers, actuators, seat dampers, etc. This paper presents basic properties, preparation, testing and implementation of MR fluid in conventional damper.

  Optimization is one of the best techniques used in manufacturing industries for improving quality of product with lower cost. This paper describes effective approach for the multi objective optimization of drilling parameters based on the Taguchi’s method and Gray relational Analysis (GRA). The parameters namely the spindle speed and feed rate are varied at three level to study their effect on material removal rate (MRR), surface roughness (SR) and hole accuracy. Taguchi L9 orthogonal array was used as design of experiments. From Gray Relational grade graph, the optimum parameter combination has been found out. Also, analysis of variance (ANNOVA) was carried out to find which drilling parameter significantly affects the output response value and also percentage contribution of individual parameter. Finally, the confirmation experiment was carried out to verify the optimum combination.

  In Today’s world OFDM plays very important role for wireless communication systems.OFDM has overlapping subcarrier spectrum due to this overlapping spectrum OFDM has very high spectral efficiency. OFDM is also known as Multicarrier modulation technique and this OFDM system is very sensitive to carrier frequency offset, which cause loss of Orthogonality and amplitude reduction of OFDM signal and lead to Inter Carrier Interference( ICI) ,which is one of the major weakness of OFDM system. Existing techniques for OFDM can be directly adopted in SC-OFDM to improve performance however, this improved performance comes at costs such as decreased throughput. We have analyzed the effect of ICI on an SC-OFDM system. This system is immune to ICI and it outperforms OFDM, SC-OFDM systems with Phase Shift Keying modulation and quadrature Amplitude Modulation.

  In flexible pavement construction at present days the development of new roads is being modified and the ever increasing population has raised the vehicular density from last few decades. Scrap tyres are one of the ingredient of pollution and also the disposal of scrap tyre is a problem in present days because it is not eco-friendly and non-biodegradable. The recycled scrap tyres are no longer suitable for use on vehicles due to wear or irreparable damages so reuse of scrap tyre rubber is not economical for the business purpose. In India scrap tyre rubber is used for modifying bitumen, the three grades of bitumen is developed CRMB-50, CRMB-55 and CRMB-60 but it depend on overall system of collecting scrap tyre, due to this cost of CRMB is high as compared to 30/40,60/70 and 80/100 grade of bitumen. In this study locally available scrap tyre crumbed rubber is added in percent of 4%, 6%, 8%, 10% and 12% by weight of 80/100 grade of bitumen at 160ºC temperature because of it will be easily generated at the time of flexible pavement construction.

  In present era, there are so many buildings which collapse fully or partially due to lake of maintenance, improper construction method and material or even due to earthquake. They need repairing to make them safe. Repair are always neglected or delayed by many people in most of building owing to lack of awareness and financial ability and so it leads to major hazards. Hence, it is needed proper repair and reconstruction application. In this project we have more focus on repairing on building which have required maintenance, because most of problem occurs after certain life of building. In addition, we have also focus on repairing of that sort of structure which have more than of their certain life and which has affected by some disaster like earthquake, flood, etc. At last, we will suggest some useful innovative materials and its application, how to apply on damage part, which would ultimately improve the strength of the structure.

  This paper presents the flexure analysis of a simply supported, thin to thick skew plate based on the higher-order shear deformation. Governing equation of the plate is obtained Hamilton's principle. A MATLAB code is developed incorporating polynomial radial basis function (RBF) base meshfree method to obtain the solution. Numerical results related to flexure analysis of skew plates are presented Results are compared with the other published results to compare present solution methodology.
