Pages: 125 - 127
The stenter chain is used in stenter machine in textile industry. The stenter pin chain and combined pin & clip stenter chain have been re-designed. The main object of present work to make simplest design and carried out its analysis for reducing the friction from the guide surface as much as possible and consequently decreasing the power required to drive the stentering machine and enabling the stentering chain to be higher linear speed. Also the objective of this project is to make light and strong chain. Some models of the stenter chain will be proposed and finite element analysis needs to carry out and these results will be comparing with existing design. The existing design of the stenter pin chain is made of mild steel and combined model is made of LM24 grade aluminium casted alloy. The material suggested for the proposed design is made up of the same material used in stenter pin chain and also suggest to use sheet metal instead of LM24 grade aluminium casted alloy for combined stenter pin and clip chain.

Pages: 128 - 131
Banking is one of the sectors where technology and advancements in technologies have not been utilized to the fullest potential. Be in security system or access systems or even in material handling in banks. For example in the security systems even today very old practices are followed that can be made lot better using technologies like GSM which is easily usable and also easy to implement at a consumer level. In this project we take up one such segment of the banking industry, which is the safety locker system and propose a fault proof system for enhancing the security in banks. In the existing system in banks, for the access of a locker all an individual requires is a key, the locker number and a signature. All of these are relatively easy to either access or duplicate. If any individual has these then they can easily access the locker because there is no other verification or authentication involved .In this project we propose a GSM based secure access which combines many details of the individual in a very easy to use system at the customer level. In this project we used microcontroller. We use one time password generation method. We also interface liquid crystal display, keypad, GSM, Relay etc. we used wireless network to communicate between two microcontrollers. So this type we can provide security.

Our ability to recognize a face, to understand spoken words, to read handwritten characters… all these abilities belong to the complex processes of “pattern recognitionâ€. The act of taking in raw data and making an action based on the “category†of the pattern. Build a machine that can recognize patterns like Automatic Speech Recognition, Fingerprint Identification, Optical Character Recognition, DNA sequence identification, Face Recognition etc. Reliable pattern recognition machines would be extremely useful. We are often by the knowledge of how patterns are modeled and recognized in nature when we develop pattern recognition algorithms. Research on machine perception also helps us gain deeper understanding and appreciation for pattern recognition systems in nature.

Since, Many years in grocery shop grocery is measured manually which is very time consuming process and due to which more numbers of people are gathered. Due to various demands of people manpower requirement are increased and also increase the cheating ratio in shop. To overcome this problem we want to develop one kind of grocery machine which gives accurate and fast output. The system having less time consuming and man power requirement is less that means only one person can handle this whole system. We used different types of token for selecting the type of grocery such as Wheat, rice etc. Depending upon weight and material of token this system gives desired output. Whole system controlled by either microcontroller or PLC (Programmable Logic Control). Now a days, corruption in government grocery shop is increased. So, in future to reduce this problem by connecting this system with online website. By giving that facility consumer gets accurate amount of grocery. We can also implement this system by using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) card, swiping card, Touch screen etc.

This paper presents design of millimeter-wave transition from waveguide to Microstrip. Transition designed is an aperture coupled transition where energy coupling from Microstrip line is done through slot in its ground plane to metal patch element placed on other side of substrate. Critical parameters of design are optimized by using a 3-D solver ANSOFT HFFS software tool and return loss better than 15 dB and its minimum insertion loss is 0.37dB over 34.5GHz–36GHz frequency range for back-back structure. The small aperture design offers low radiation loss, miniaturized design and is reasonably insensitive to mechanical misalignment between waveguide and Microstrip circuit.

Year: 2016, Volume:2, Issue : 9
Pages: 151 - 156
The ternary logic (also called three-valued or trivalent logic and abbreviated 3VL) is a promising alternative to the conventional binary logic design technique. It is possible for ternary logic to achieve simplicity and energy efficiency in digital design since the logic reduces the complexity of interconnects and chip area, in turn reducing the chip delay. It offers better utilization of transmission channels because of the higher information content carried by each line, also gives more efficient error detection and correction codes and possess potentially higher density of information storage. The proposed paper is aimed to achieve the low power consumption, high stability physical design of ternary inverter. Here we used Microwind EDA tool for designing and simulation of the physical design.
