  Stress analysis of an infinite length plate employing an elliptical hole subjected to axial tension has been carried out using numerical, analytical and experimental method. Different angles of obliquity have been considered to find stress concentration factor at such holes. The work covers plate hole obliquity angles 0, 45, 90 degree. The comparison is made between the results obtain from photo elasticity, FEA and actual failure test.

Then, the shell and tube heat exchanger using copper is created using CATIA and flow ,thermal analysis is created using ANSYS and it is experimentally investigated under various flow rates.

  Iris popularity has become popular now a day’s due to its uniqueness and stability. Among all the others biometrics as face, thumb, voice recognitions, iris popularity getting greater famous in research areas in biometrics reputation. In other biometrics aside from iris, it'll be visible that there is a few kind of biological alteration in face, voice, and thumb over human life of span from start to older age. In this paper we are the usage of modified way of Libormasek method. In modified Libormasek method mainly 3 levels preprocessing, feature extraction is based on Ant colony optimization (ACO), template matching plus calculation of middle coordinates, inner and outer radius of iris in eye image. Right here we're the usage of IIT Delhi database for our iris recognition.

  Data mining also known as knowledge discovery in database has been recognized as a promising new area for database research. Studying the patterns hidden in gene expression data helps to understand the functionality of genes. In General, clustering techniques are widely used for identification of partitioning from gene expression data. The proposed work in this paper is about optimizing the data with fuzzy C-Mean clustering algorithm and using multi-objective optimization method i.e. Non-Dominant Sorting Genetic algorithm-2. In the first phase it optimizes the data to reduce the number of comparisons using clustering. Fuzzy C-means algorithm is invoked on the data sets, based on the highest membership values of data points with respect to different clusters, labelled information are extracted . In each case only 10% class labelled information of data points are randomly selected which acts as supervised information. In the Second phase it is implemented with multi-objective genetic algorithm to find fitness function.

  This paper attempts to assess the environmental degradation due to power generation worldwide. Generation of power releases GHG (greenhouse gases). Worldwide, two major sources for power generation are coal and hydro. Coal-fired power plants release maximum GHG with the highest concentration of CO2 which is responsible for global warming leads to climate change, forest area destruction and environmental degradation. Global CO2 emission increased from 25613 million tons in 2001 to 36028 million tons in 2014. Coal as a dominant source of power generation accounts for 40% of global CO2 emission and accounts for 14.1 billion tons in 2013 with the cumulative average growth rate (CAGR) of 2.7% between 2006 to 2013. In 2000, coal accounted for 38% of electricity generation and coal is projected to remain the dominant fuel for power generation (36%) in 2020. Currently, 42% of global electricity supplied by coal-fired power plants and accounts for 28% of global CO2 emission. Mining, to feed the coal to the power plants altered millions of hectors of land; most of them are originally forest. In US, around 2.4 million hectors between 1930-2000, China 3.2 million hectors according to 2004 estimate and India grants forest clearance around 31500 hector only for coal mining during 11th FYP which was 16% of all forest land diversion and around 65% of forest land diversion for mining. In addition, transmission accounts for 4.1% of forest clearance. Forest clearance for hydroelectricity development is the major issue for environmental degradation. In 1996, there were approximately 42,000 large dams in the world. In China, there are 24,671 large dams, more than any other country, followed by United States (6375) and India (4010) as per ICOLD 1998. Since the 1950s, approximately 10,000 km3 of water have been impounded in reservoirs which is equivalent of five times the volume of water in all the world’s rivers. Reservoirs produces significant amount of GHG. At present, India has 5,202 large dams and majority of them are located at Indian Himalayan region. Uttarakhand alone accounts for 5391.17 Ha of forest area diversion for Hydro projects since 1980 to June,2013, in Himachal Pradesh, from 1981 – 2012, more than 10,000 Ha of forest land have been diverted for hydropower projects, mining, roads and other projects and as much as 12,025 Ha of forest land diverted since 1991 in Jammu & Kashmir. The trend shows the fuel wood consumption are increasing out of total forest removal and over the last 25 years global carbon stock in forest biomass decreased by almost 17.4 Gt (giga tons) due to conversion to other land uses and forest degradation. Biomass accounts for approximately 14% of total energy used globally. Indian Himalayan region is experiencing scarcity of fuel wood due to over exploitation. The per capita annual consumption of dry wood in various parts of the Himalayas varies between 500 to 1200 kg /capita/year. Burning of biomass fuel is responsible for the emissions of GHG such as, CO2, CH4, CO, N2 O, NOx and NO. Cumulative effects of increasing CO2 emissions for power generation (mostly from coal-fired power plants), massive deforestation or forest area clearance for mining and hydro power projects, fuel wood and fodder collection for energy degrades environment of mountain region at a faster rate like Himalayan.

  In today’s world of fast moving consumption the analysis of inventory is very important. The pattern of consumption of inventory with respect to available and in process stock is to be always calculated from vast pool of resources. Based on the data of stocks they can be categorized as dull stock, average stock and pace stock. The stocks can be categories as dull stock, average stock and pace stock whereas Dull stock means the stock which is slowly getting consumed, average stock means which is getting consumed at a moderate speed and pace stock means which is consumed at a very fast rate. Stocks can be categories based on their consumption pattern and here k means algorithm plays an important role. K means algorithm from data mining stream can make Group of the stocks hence decision making based on pattern. Along with k means algorithm we have used most frequent algorithm also.

  Pollution, population, electricity, transportation are some problems we are facing every day, but the irony is these the problems are created by human beings only. In recent years, an increasing concern of environmental issues of emissions, in particular global warming and the limits of energy resources has resulted in extensive research into novel technologies of producing electrical power. Thermoelectric power generators have emerged as a promising alternative green technology due to their distinct advantages like environmentally friendly, lower production cost etc. Thermoelectric power generation offer a potential application in the direct change of wasteheat energy into electrical power where it is unnecessary to consider the cost of the thermal energy. The application of this alternative green technology in converting waste-heat energy directly into electrical power can also improve the overall efficiencies of energy conversion systems. In this paper, the basic ideas of thermoelectricity including their importance and relevant applications to waste-heat energy, noise/vibration is discussed.

  To protect outsourced information in cloud storage against corruptions, adding fault tolerance along with information integrity checking and failure reparation becomes critical. Recently, regenerating codes have gained familiarity because of their lower repair information measure whereas providing fault tolerance. This paper implements Data privacy by randomizing the encode coefficients with a pseudorandom function with public auditing and proxy regeneration method which reduces data owner online burden for data integrity checking and reparation respectively. We analyzed that the existing storage scheme requires more time for retrieving repaired data. This paper proposes a naive storage based technique which replaces the merged storage of split files at different servers into individual split file storage (such as A, B, C instead of AB, BC, CA). Thus this paper provides performance analysis of reduced time complexity during retrieval of large collection of long time archival data for future usage.
