Year: 2017, Volume:4, Issue : 1
Pages: 136 - 140
The free space optics (FSO) communication is a growing up technology, which offers full duplex and usually protocol independent data transmission between two points. Distance between transmitting and receiving points can be from several meters up to a few kilometers. But FSO system has a large variation of receiving signal due to atmospheric phenomena. This fact limits the availability of FSO for a given transmission range, so it is very important to measure and know weather conditions such as fog parameters, humidity and temperature. To overcome the issue, in this paper, we are offering an approach which will help to increase link availability even for the worse conditions. We are also working on Blocking Probability estimation based on link margin which provides highest quality of transmission.

Pages: 141 - 146
The objective of present work is to find out the effectiveness of the Hypo sludge based concrete. In this investigation it was proposed that the partial replacement of ordinary Portland cement by hypo sludge in concrete at variable temperatures. Hypo sludge is the waste material from paper industry that has some chemical properties similar to that of cement. In this investigation percentage of cement replaced partially is (5%, 10%, 15%, & 20%) with Waste paper sludge. Compressive strength of cubes and Split tensile strength of cylinders at 7days and 28 days of duration are studied. The tests are carried out to evaluate the mechanical properties like compressive strength and split tensile strength at 7days and 28 days. And parameter investigated was the time in hours to cause strength deterioration factor at 1000c, 2000c, 3000c, 4000c and 5000c temperatures. Based on the results the optimum level of replacement of waste paper sludge was found to be 10% and change in strength of partially replaced concrete at 100c and 200c is very nominal when compared to the concrete cube tested at normal temperature. Considerable change (decrease) in the Strength of Concrete at 300c, 400c and 500c is observed.

Year: 2017, Volume:4, Issue : 1
Pages: 147 - 152
Data Stream Mining is the process of extracting knowledge structures from continuous, rapid data records. Now a day’s huge amount of data is processed & analyzed. So it is very important to classify data & information properly. The information is basically unstructured & continuous. So huge volume of continuous data which has multidimensional feature & often fast changing. It is required to construct model which adapt such changes & give fast response. Such information flow examples are network traffic, sensor data, call center records etc. Class evolution is now a day’s important topic in data stream mining which handles such data. So in previous work proposed a model Class Based ensemble for Class evolution (CBCE) to maintain such a large amount of streams. But for complex & massive data result would be different. So complex class ensemble model (CCEM) is proposed for classification so huge & complex classes can be handled & classify & also proposed a model for class disappearance only so that more emphasize on class disappearance than class reoccurrence & novel class.

The modern technology has increased the standard of living for the humans. There has been an emerging demand for quick and easy payment of bills in supermarkets. Every one of us craves for a quality in everything we use in our daily lives. This project describes how to build an automated and time saving system for the world of retail which will make shopping experience impetuous, customer friendly and secure. So, this has resulted in large crowds at shopping malls which have lead to long lines at the billing counter because the cashier has to scan every product item and then enter it into the billing record. The prevailing billing system is a bit time consuming. So, we thought of inventing a remedial electronic product to catch-up with this problem. We call it “Automated shopping trolley for billing systemâ€. This is based on Raspberry Pi fitted with a LCD and QR scanner and a wireless technology called Bluetooth. The LCD used is a 16x2 and Bluetooth modules make the wireless network to work easily between a certain ranges. An innovative product with social acceptance is the one that aids the comfort, convenience and efficiency in everyday life. The brief description of its operation is, when you pick a product and drop it into the trolley, the QR scanner scans the product’s unique code and its price. And it gets displayed on the LCD screen. So after costumer has finished with the shopping he/she has to visit the counter and pay the bill as displayed on the LCD screen fitted on the trolley. This will save the time that was earlier being consumed to scan each item.

Pages: 170 - 172
Plant pathology is a branch of Botany, which deals with study of various types of diseases, their symptoms, effects and remedial measures. When any microorganism invades the plant, it causes serious damage to it in terms of morphology, anatomy, biochemistry and physiology. Environmental conditions also play an important role in these cases. Seed is a basic unit of life that is miniature form of the plant and helps the plant to sustain the next generation. A healthy seed is a key factor for assured healthy growth and vigour. Hence, maintenance of the quality of the seed is of vital importance in the field of plant sciences. Seed invasion by fungal pathogens is of common occurrence in case of agriculture because of which the entire crop can be spoiled. Some of the fungal pathogens can be revealed very easily due to morphological characters but some may not be. In that case, we need to use various methods apart from the conventional methods. Hence, various methods to isolate the fungal pathogens have to be implemented to detect all the possible organisms present as seed borne pathogens. In the present studies, the authors have implemented Paper Towel Method to isolate the fungal organisms from the grains of wheat and also to study the impact of various fungicides on their growth.

Year: 2017, Volume:4, Issue : 1
Pages: 173 - 177
Recent cloud based web application demands authentication to provide reliable verification and accurate distinguishing between the actual user and the attacker. Presence of many client end vulnerabilities such as the credential stealing attacks have made most of the time the attackers to be treated as legitimate users as the credentials are actually stolen and entered. This affects the reliability of such authentication methods along with the usability due to the cost involved in authenticating each user in terms of storage required, processing time and computational cost. The primary requirement of authentication is the usability, deployability and maintainability along with the security. The aim of this work is to discover a better authentication that is easy to manage with less cost and better protection mechanisms against most of the credential stealing attacks.
