Pages: 53 - 61
To maintain the two different ground level retaining wall are constructed. Retaining wall is basically design for lateral force acting on it due to pressure force exerted by backfill retained by the wall and pressure force due to traffic. In this paper the effect due to reduce in safe bearing capacity and coefficient of friction in the stability of existing retaining wall. Design philosophy is based on Indian standard code IS 456. Safe bearing capacity of soil and coefficient of friction taken as variable to know the effect in stability.

Year: 2018, Volume:4, Issue : 10
Pages: 62 - 67
As more and more Big Data applications are be-coming the industry adopted standard and in order to enable economy of scale, are being fully automated, less and less human involvement is required. It becomes increasingly important to ensure that automated Big Data processes are operating correctly and ensure that organizations and individuals whose lives are impacted by its algorithms are treated fairly. This paper attempts to establish how the designers, architects, system analysts, testers, business analysts, IT auditor can benefit from a generalized approach towards establishing a quality assurance framework for big data quality assurance testing. Testing big data is one of major challenges industry is facing now a days as organizations struggle to decide upon amount of testing required on target data. This results in undesired data being processed to production leading to more cost and time. To overcome this more defined approach is required for validation and verification of data early in the lifecycle.

Pages: 68 - 73
In this generation we have focused for make an improvement and maintain to the government sectors like electric bill, water bill and commercial tax departments. About their bill payment system for each and every house holder in the both urban and rural area. Now-a-days the bill payment system is becoming a huge problem and their records are not easily identifies if there is any emergency needed due to their different area location allocated. So to overcome this kind of problems we can collect and store all necessary information and their payment structure in a single database server using online big data methods.

Future of Nitinol Tires
Fidahusain A Raydurg
Manufacturing Engineering
Year: 2018, Volume:4, Issue : 10
Pages: 74 - 78
Nickel-titanium, referred commonly as Nitinol, which is a shape-memory alloy with super elastic properties which makes it to withstand in certain environments and applications. These properties include shape-memory, flexibility, and durability, Nitinol tires are made of a mesh of wires of Nitinol, a shape-memory alloy based on nickel-titanium that allows the tire to return to its original shape after undergoing deformation. With this concept, the paper aims at producing Nitinol tires for commercial purpose here on Earth. Nitinol Tire is a viable alternative to pneumatic tires here on Earth. To use Nitinol tires one cannot use metal on the highways as the tire won’t provide much grip, therefore a metal frame must be coated with high friction material so as to give a tire which is much grippy and deformable with almost negligible chance of puncture.

Year: 2018, Volume:4, Issue : 10
Pages: 79 - 85
Every piece of information learned in human health has the potential to increase the length of patient life. However, the search for more knowledge in the health informatics domain need to analysis vast quantities of data which cannot be easily processed by researchers. Such data are handled by Big data is one of the latest technologies which have the potential for radically changing healthcare data. The main aim of this paper is to introduce efficient data mining techniques for prediction of different diseases like leukemia cancer, lung cancer and heart disease. Initially, a healthcare data is collected and it is divided into partitions and each partition is loaded in a map. Then the firefly optimization algorithm process is carried out on each map which returns subgroups for each partition. However, the subgroups have been obtained by considering best features of partition. In this paper, subgroup is obtained by updating fireflies based on the global best features of each partition. This process reduces the number of features for the classification of healthcare data which saves the time and speed of classifiers without affecting the classification accuracy. The selected features are get into three different classifiers are Naïve Bayes, C4.5 and Random forest which predicts the lung cancer, leukemia cancer and heart disease effectively. The experimental results are conducted to prove the effectiveness of the proposed method in terms of accuracy, precision, recall and F-measure.

Pages: 86 - 93
The purpose of the study is to identify improved gating system of windmill hub. The windmill hub is a portion of windmill which houses the bearing and contains blades. Here we made some modifications in gating system and find a suitable design by various factors. The study is done in on the basis of manufacturing of windmill hub at Autokast Ltd Cherthala. Here the windmill hub has a pouring weight of 2250kg. The calculations are modified on the basis of this weight.

India being the largest democracy in the world, elections forms the cornerstone of our country. We elect our own representative who can lead our country successfully, does well to the people and hopefully keep their promises. Voting is the opportunity to contribute in political process and it is the right of every citizen to vote. But it is the biggest question whether the elections are being held in an efficient and generous way. From various surveys it is stated that the voting process is turning into business deals. The problem of bogus votes are still continuing which is biggest threat to our nation. Initially ballot paper was used to vote where the counting process takes long time and there was risk of manual errors. Later ballot box i.e., EVM was adopted where counting were being done at earliest yet bogus votes are being casted. To overcome all these crisis aadhar based voting system is proposed in this paper where the biometrics are scanned and votes are casted to the desired representatives. Also a special button is denoted for voting for physically challenged peoples where they can vote for nation at easiest way.

Influence of Zycosil in Cold Mix Design of SDBC

Civil Engineering
Year: 2018, Volume:4, Issue : 10
Pages: 99 - 106
In India major part of roads are flexible in nature which deteriorates rapidly during their design life owing to high traffic intensity, overloading of commercial vehicle, and improper drainage system etc. resulting in early initiation of distress condition. These governing factors emphasizes on the necessity of roads with better stability and engineering design. In a country like India with its adverse climatic condition roads made of conventional bitumen fail to impart the required stability hence modification of bitumen as binder is the need of the hour. Certain admixtures can be used to partially replace the conventional bitumen to improve desired mechanical characteristics for particular road mix in semi dense bituminous concrete layer. Zycosil a nanomaterial recently used as an additive to strengthen the pavement. In this study, we are looking forward to use zycosil as additives in SDBC mix along with cement as filler. Various cold mix samples were prepared at different percentages of binder content (7%, 8%, 9% and 10%).These samples were tested for Marshall Values. These Marshall values were used to compute the optimum bitumen content of the mix. The optimum bitumen content was found to be 8.66% for SDBC mix. Zycosil additive was added at varying percentage (0.02%, 0.03% and 0.04%) to this optimum bitumen content. Upon addition of zycosil to the optimum bitumen content, the Marshall stability values of the mix increases significantly. Hence it is suggested to use it in the flexible pavement construction.

In the present time aluminium and other metals are replaced by composite materials in the field of automobile due to less weight and less corrosiveness. In this experiment aluminum alloy is used as the matrix material and SiC and various leaf ashes used as the reinforcement. The composite is developed by bottom pouring stir casting method. The optical microscopic test is steered to examine the dispersal of reinforcement particulates. Vickers hardness test is used to calculating the hardness in the composite samples. Finally, the mechanical and tribological properties of the composites were evaluated, and their relation to the corresponding microstructure and processing parameters of the composites was discussed.

Nowadays there is necessity for a stronger personal data security and privacy, so we propose a biometric technology with the smart card. This integrated feature is implemented using Match on Card (MOC) algorithm to recognize the fingerprint for a highly personalized authentication. In MOC, minutiae-based technique is used to find the similarity between the templates by point to point matching (Minutiae Pairing). This increases the effectiveness of accuracy when compared to other like transform and correlation-based techniques. Performing the biometric data match within the tamper-proof environment of the smart card which is more private. In this system, all the harmful data involving the biometric pattern can be encapsulated within smart cards providing the risk-free environment without any data leakage.
