  Medical datasets have reached enormous capacities. This data may contain valuable information that awaits extraction. The knowledge may be encapsulated in various patterns and regularities that may be hidden in the data. Such knowledge may prove to be priceless in future medical decision making. The data which is analyzed comes from National Breast Cancer Prevention Program. The aim of this thesis is the evaluation of the analytical data from the Program to see if the domain can be a subject to data mining. The next step is to evaluate several data mining methods with respect to their applicability to the given data. This is to show which of the techniques are particularly usable for the given dataset. Finally, the research aims at extracting some tangible medical knowledge from the set. The research utilizes a data warehouse to store the data. The data is assessed via the ETL process. The performance of the data mining models is measured with the use of the lift charts and confusion (classification) matrices. The medical knowledge is extracted based on the indications of the majority of the models. The data mining models were not unanimous about patterns in the data. Thus the medical knowledge is not certain and requires verification from the medical people. However, most of the models strongly associated patient's age, tissue type, hormonal therapies and disease in family with the malignancy of cancers. The next step of the research is to present the findings to the medical people for verification. In the future the outcomes may constitute a good background for development of a Medical Decision Support.

  The counselling needs of 443 (195 f; 248 m) engineering students were assessed in this study along with a measure of academic performance and social-economic status (SES). Counselling needs are the needs/problems of the students for which they want to seek counselling in order to help cope with those problems. The Student Counselling Needs Questionnaire and Kuppuswamy’s scale were administered on the sample to collect primary data. Secondary data, the academic performance was collected from the college records. The results showed significant differences between type of problem area, gender, SES and academic performance. The high levels of unmet counselling needs in the engineering students necessitate adoption of suitable counselling services in the colleges.

  Pollution is the most important aspect on which we have to think about. Cement being the most important material in the concrete causes the environmental pollution in its production. To overcome this problem use of various by-products should be done, like Flyash, GGBFS, RHA, Silica Fume, etc. Therefore, an attempt has been made to study the suitability of Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) & Rice Husk Ash (RHA) materials as replacement of Portland cement. GGBS is obtained from blast furnace slag, a by-product from the manufacture of iron & RHA is the agricultural waste produced from rice husk mill. In many countries there is big need to reduce cost of construction due to highly increase in demand. So by using these waste products there is decrease in consumption of cement which decreases the cost and also these materials are easily available for people. Research has shown that the replacement of cement with Supplementary Cementing Materials improves the mechanical properties of concrete. In this paper the suitability of GGBFS & RHA as source material i.e. binder will be checked.

  Compressed air is another form of renewable energy sources, we developed a prototype called exoskeleton which loads lifting capacity of human up to 20-45 kg depending upon, the pressure supplied through the compressor using pneumatic cylinder Basically, the main purpose is that more work is done with the help of this machine with less human effort & that’s actually we try to achieve it we named it weight lifter. Secondly, the wearable chair which will assist to provide comfort in various positions by setting an angle for workers to overcome their fatigue. An apparatus for supporting the weight of an individual body from the ground surface includes a unit for attachment to each leg. This paper deals with upper extremity, lower extremity, power assist and degree of freedom (DOF). Thinking on these lines, we came up with an alternative which will facilitate sitting and working and even carrying the whole exoskeleton anywhere anytime we want.
