We propose style of “Pothole Detection System for observance Road and Traffic Conditions mistreatment IoT†observance road and traffic conditions in an exceedingly town could be a drawback wide studied. Many ways are projected towards addressing this drawback. Many projected techniques need dedicated hardware like GPS devices and accelerometers in vehicles or cameras on wayside and close to traffic signals. All such ways square measure expensive in terms of financial value and human effort needed. We tend to propose a non- intrusive methodology that uses sensors gift on smartphones. In propose system we tend to use measuring instrument, GPS detector readings for traffic and road conditions detection. The projected system contains 2 vital functions, initial is to discover the hollow that is finished through a multi-sensor scheme consisting of measuring instrument and gyro and second warn the motive force and store this info on a cloud base which might be accessed by different users which is able to facilitate them apprehend the potholes on their approach. Once the placement of the potholes is understood, Government authorities may be well-read regarding identical.

Due to population growth, usages of plastic materials are increasing day by day, most of the plastic materials are dumped as landfill and they are not effectively reused in most of the applications. Numerous researches in most were carried out using waste rubber in pavement construction. So the aim of this project is to replace cement with waste plastic in paver block and to reduce the cost of paver block in compared to that of conventional concrete paver block at present nearly 56 lakhs tons of waste plastic is produced in India per year. The degradation rate of plastic waste is also very slow process. And in addition with waste plastic waste lime sludge from paper industry which replaces fine aggregate. In this project we have used waste plastic and lime sludge in different proportions with sand. The paver bocks were prepared and tested and the results were discussed elaborately.

Steel slag is the residue of steel making industry and the emission amount is about 12 to 20 percent of rough steel production. Steel slag and slag has certain amount of important minerals of cement clinkers, such as C2S and C3S. So it can be used as cement and concrete admixtures. If the steel slag and slag occupies 15 percent of steel production (quality percentage), then the emission amount is 1.2 million tons. So if coarse aggregate can be replaced by steel slag and not only can the activity of slag be fully simulated but also the durability of concrete can be improved. Steel slag has higher strength characteristics than normal aggregate, which result in more strength differences between slag aggregate concrete and natural aggregate concrete. If the replacement of steel slag increases beyond 75%, to maintain the workability of concrete certain water reducing admixtures should be added. Four mixes were prepared by partially replacing steel slag as fine aggregate and tested for Mechanical Properties such as Compressive Strength, Splitting tensile strength, Flexural strength and durability properties such as Salt resistance, sulphate resistance and acid resistance and the results were discussed elaborately.

Human Resource Management system is made to automate the manual work done by Human resource managers. In this paper, a smart attendance system for industry using QR code, Geo Location and OTP processing is proposed with objective of reducing the deployment cost for tracking employee’s attendance. Attendance is automated using the location by detecting the employee location to make attendance and it generates QR code of employee. Based on the QR Code, OTP is send to his/her registered mobile number to ensure that employee with their authenticated mobile number can mark attendance with log time. It also maintains separate leave record, in which the employees can make leave request and on acceptance they can avail it along with which they can view their leave options available for them. Each employee leave report, attendance report and pay slip reports are automated and send to HR Manager. HR can automate the email of these reports and any official information by which Events, Alerts, Circulars are being notified accordingly to particular person or group of separate category. The method of developing the system is a web app and it could be used by employee, admin and HR to manage and automate various operations in this system by decreasing the human’s routine tasks with reduced error rate.

We cannot imagine a world without textile. Quality control is an important feature in the textile industry. This paper proposes an approach to recognize fabric defects in textile industry for minimizing production cost and time since the work of inspectors is very tedious and consumes time and cost. Wastage reduction through accurate and early stage detection of defects in fabrics is also an important aspect of quality improvement. The investment in automated fabric defect detection is more than economical when reduction in labour cost and associated benefits are considered. The inspection of real fabric defects is particularly challenging due to the large number of fabric defect classes which are characterized by their vagueness and ambiguity. So this is the automated online detection of weaving defects by computerized system based on image processing technique software which is an effective and accurate approach to automatic defect detection.

Pages: 46 - 57
Total Quality Management is defined as a continuous effort by the management as well as employees of a particular organization to ensure long term customer loyalty and customer satisfaction. Remember, one happy and satisfied customer brings ten new customers along with him whereas one disappointed individual will spread bad word of mouth and spoil several of your existing as well as potential customers. Quality can be measured in terms of durability, reliability, usage and so on. Total quality management is a structured effort by employees to continuously improve the quality of their products and services through proper feedbacks and research. Every individual who receives his/her paycheck from the organization has to contribute equally to design processes and systems which would eventually ensure superior quality of products and services. Total Quality management is indeed a joint effort of management, staff members, workforce, suppliers in order to meet and exceed customer satisfaction level. William Edwards Deming, Joseph M. Juran, and Armand V. Feigenbaum jointly developed the concept of total quality management. Total Quality Management originated in the manufacturing sector, but can be applied to almost all organizations. The following chart shows the tree diagram for effects of TQM.

Pages: 58 - 64
The present health care system is, for the most part, in-hospital based and incorporates occasional visits that has turned as a monotonous activity for the patients. In this paper, a complete and integrated healthcare model is described enabling Remote Health Monitoring (RPM) patients to daily collect vital signs at home and sending them to caretakers using the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). This enables doctors to screen patients at a distance and take occasional activities if there should be an occurrence of need. A set of health parameters has been identified i.e. Electrocardiogram (ECG), Pulse rate, Temperature, and Blood Pressure by using wearable sensors. These sensors are connected to an Intel Edison Board. Once the Intel Edison Board is connected to the internet, it collects data from sensors and sends to the server. The vital parameters can be visualized and monitored on any remote smart device including laptops or smartphones which are connected under the same network. The proposed demonstrate empowers users to enhance monitoring of health-related dangers and lessen hospital costs by gathering, recording, breaking down and sharing extensive health information continuously and productively. The possibility of this task came so to decrease the cerebral pain of patient to visit a specialist each time he has to check his pulse, heartbeat rate, temperature and so forth. With the assistance of this proposal, the time of both patients and doctors are saved and doctors can also help in an emergency scenario as much as possible.
