  Mishaps squander human life which creates permanent disorder consequence as victim of life. Disaster may occur due to many reasons which includes brake failures, mislead of traffic signals, inefficient driving skills and distraction while driving. Perhaps ample victims of misfortune are often due to drunken drive. Though there are many amendments to punish drunken drivers whichever is not effective for rapidly increasing traffic. Because traffic police cannot stand on each and every road to check the car driver whether he/she has drunk or not. So, there is a need for an effective system to check drunken drivers. Therefore, a detailed review is analysed and presented below based on the existing system. According to the reflection of the survey, detect the alcohol content using MQ3 alcohol sensor, send value to microcontroller, fuel supply will be cut-off, intimate a message using GSM module, the rate of accidents will be depreciated.

  The most noticeable topic for electrical engineering is power quality in recent year. Power quality problem is an occurrence manifested as a nonstandard voltage, current or frequency. Utility distribution networks, sensitive industrial load and critical commercial operation suffer from various types of outages and service interruption can cost significant financial losses. One of the major problems dealt here is the voltage sag. With the fast development in power electronics technology have made it possible to mitigate power quality problems. Dynamic Voltage Restorer is a series connected power electronics based device that can quickly mitigate the voltage sag in the system and restore the load voltage to the pre-fault value. In this paper we go through to relevant power quality problems for a DVR and power electronics controllers for voltage sag and swell mitigation. Thereafter the operation and elements in DVR is described. In this thesis proposed utilizes the error signal to control the triggering of the switches of an inverter using Unit Template Vector Technique (UTVT). Modelling and simulation of proposed DVR is implemented in MATLAB SIMULINK.

  Pure sine wave inverters produce power that equivalents to or better than the power in the home. It utilizes refined innovation to secure even the most delicate hardware. The main objective of this research is to plan and actualize a single-phase inverter that can change DC voltage over to AC voltage at high effectiveness and ease. Sun-oriented and wind-fueled power age is being supported these days as the world progressively centers around ecological concerns. Power inverters, which convert sun-oriented cell DC into homegrown use AC, are one of the critical advancements for conveying effective AC power. To convey such execution, the power inverters are driven by high-performance PIC 16F877A microcontroller units (MCUs) that can accomplish significant level inverter control and thusly this microcontroller is the core of the system and controls the whole system. The microcontroller is modified utilizing an implanted C compiler and in explicit CCS C to create sine pulse width regulated (SPWM) pulses which are utilized to drive H-bridge.
