  Now days the industries are worldwide use conveyors as a mechanism to transport boxes from one place to another place. This mechanism includes strong belts, pulleys and heavy motors to rotate the pulley to move the conveyor. As an alternative to this conveyor type, more simple and comfortable machine using eight bar mechanism can be used. This project helps to transfer the boxes smoothly by use of eight bars with a simple arrangement. In this project eight bar mechanism is the heart of the machine and it converts the rotary motion into reciprocating motion. It requires electric motor which is operated by solar power system.

  A methodology is developed in this study for prioritization of rural road for their improvement. Rural road are tertiary system in any road network, but connect largest habitation to big cities. As we know that largest population of India is living in rural area, and maximum of them are dependent on agriculture. It is mandatory for better development of any country to built rural roads to connect people of this area to urban area. This study gives a list of factors which affect rural road and their relative weightage. This weightage are carried out with the help of analytical hierarchy process. Analytical hierarchy process is a mathematical tool to determine relative weights of factors. Actual condition rating of these factors is multiplied with weightage of factors and rural road improvement index (RRII) is determined. Lower the value of rural road improvement index indicates good condition of road.

  A super secure bike is very useful for tracking the movement of a bike from any location at any time. In this work, real time Google map and Arduino based super secure bike is implemented with Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global system for mobile communication (GSM) technology. The GPS send the location of the bike. Then GSM module transmits the location of bike to mobile phone of owner/user in terms of latitude and longitude. At the same time, location is displayed on LCD. Finally, Google map displays the location and name of the place on mobile phone. Thus, owner/user will be able to continuously monitor a moving bike using the mobile phone. In order to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the system, this work presents experimental result of the bike tracking system. The proposed system is user friendly and ensures safety and surveillance at low maintenance cost.

  God gifted sense of vision to the human being is an important aspect of our life. But there are some unfortunate people who lack the ability of visualizing things. The visually impaired have to face many challenges in their daily life. The problem gets worse when they travel to an unfamiliar location. The old system are not work properly in outdoor applications. In this paper, we propose a navigation device for the visually impaired which is focused on providing voice output for obstacle prevention and navigation using the ultrasonic sensor, ADXL325 sensor. We also use the GSM/GPS module, voice ic, mike and buzzer. Using this system we alert the blind person’s relatives.

  This paper describes the studies related to ZnO nanoparticles (0, 0.5, 1, 3 and 5 wt. %) filled Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) thin films prepared by solution casting technique. The synthesized ZnO/LDPE nanocomposite thin films were analyzed by XRD, SEM and FTIR. Peaks in X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) pattern indicate the presence of ZnO nanoparticles in LDPE matrix and absence of any extra peak in the pattern shows there is no new phase formation. The Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) images showed that the nano inclusions are uniformly distributed in the LDPE matrix. Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) result indicates the presence ZnO nanoparticles in LDPE thin films.

  Diabetes is a syndrome of disordered metabolism, usually due to a combination of hereditary and environmental causes, resulting in abnormally high blood sugar levels. Various hormones in our body such as insulin, growth hormone, glucagon control blood glucose levels, epinephrine best known as adrenaline, glucocorticoids and thyroxine. The two most common forms of diabetes are due to either a diminished production of insulin (Type 1 diabetes), or decreased response by the body of insulin (Type 2 and gestational diabetes).Both lead to hyperglycemia, which largely causes the acute signs of diabetes: excessive urine production, resulting compensatory thirst and increased fluid intake, blurred vision, unexplained weight loss, lethargy, and changes in energy metabolism. We will explain how each hormone is initiated and how its impact the glucose levels in blood. We present a mathematical model that determines diabetes in patients based in the results on the glucose intolerance test of 5 hours. Our model extends the one suggested by E.Ackerman2 (1969) to include three instead of two hormones concentrations. In particular we include concentrations for glucose, glucagon and a global variable that includes other hormones such as insulin. The model is based on a 3×3 system of non –homogenous ordinary differential equation. A nonlinear least square method is used to find the coefficient parameters of the system based on actual from data GTT. The simulations also provide an indicator similar to the one proposed by E. Ackerman (1969), to diagnose a diabetic condition. Additionally, we develop a graphical user interface to facilitate the entering of the patient’s data and the visualization of the results.
