  Agriculture is the major sector in the world that plays a vital role in developing the economy of a nation. Agrotechnology is the process of implementing the recent technologies to develop crops that are being produced. The use of agro-technology not only helps in improving the efficiency of the crop that is being produced but also helps in developing devices that are suitable for doing mechanical works in the fields. This results in minimization of the total cost of production, saving of time and reduction in the effort involved in the process. The new technology should also be economically feasible and hence the behavior of the technology and its role in society is an important consideration before developing a new product or process. In this work, solar operated multigrain seed sowing machine has been developed that helps the farmers in sowing operation by using sun rays with the least efforts. This is multi-utility bullock and solar-driven flexible equipment which can be used as equidistance seed sowing cum fertilizer as well as for plowing. Mixed cropping is obtained at the same time. Crops such as Jowar, Tuar, Udad, Bajra, Soyabin, etc.

• Studies on Proximate and Physico-chemical Evaluation of Different Groundnut Varieties Grown in India

  In the present study of five different groundnut varieties such as GG-11,J-11,TMV-2,Rs-1 and K-6 were grown under different geographical places in India. The proximate analysis, oil yield and physicochemical characteristics of collected groundnut seeds and their extracted oils were determined for their nutritional assay. It was found that the seeds contained in the range of extracted oil, protein, moisture, crude fibre, total ash, crude fat, carbohydrate and calories contents were 39.81-44.9%, 26.25-38.13%, 3.54-5.29%, 2.2-4.08%, 2.6-3.0%, 28.8-32.8, 17.01-34.66 and 502.84-528.36 % respectively. The specific gravity, viscosities, impurities and refractive index of the extracted groundnut seed oil were in the range of 0.9147-0.916, 91.47-91.6, 0.04-0.06 and 1.4623-1.4632, respectively. AV (mg KOH/g oil), IV (g I2/100 g oil), SV (mg KOH/ g oil),ester value and unsaponifiable matter content (%) of the extracted oil from groundnut seeds were in the range of 1.1-4.48, 84.75-95.84,188.61-195.68,186.91-192.1 and 0.44-0.7% respectively. This study is empirical and on the basis of finding it is revealed that groundnut seed oil can be a valuable source of edible oil.

  In the world of manufacturing, there are a lot of systems to choose from, each with its ideal use and set of advantages and drawbacks. Having the appropriate manufacturing system for your product can yield a variety of benefits, including the ability to maintain the high quality of your goods, being more efficient in your production processes and saving money across the board. The right system can also help you produce higher volumes, thereby meeting your production volume targets. It is a method of organizing production. Many types of manufacturing systems are in place, including assembly lines, batch production and computer integrated manufacturing. A manufacturing system consists of the following components: production machines (plus associated tooling); a material handling system; a computer system for co-ordination and/or control; and human workers. Most manufacturing in modern-day manufacturing systems is done by machines of one form or another. Manufacturing system is of two types: Intermittent Manufacturing/Production System, Continuous Manufacturing/Production System. Types of Production System include Intermittent Production System, Continuous Production System (Production to Order) (Production to Stock), Job Production, Mass Production, Batch Production Process. A manufacturing system can be defined as the arrangement and operation of machines, tools, material, people and information to produce a value-added physical, informational or service product whose success and cost is characterized by measurable parameters. Manufacturing engineering or manufacturing process are the steps through which raw materials are transformed into a final product. The manufacturing process begins with the product design, and materials specification from which the product is made.   Security is a vital component for each sovereign country, like in the case of the Federal Republic of Somalia. As one of the powers in Africa, or as known as the Horn of Africa, Somalia has its own difficulties and problems within the scope of international relations and internal security. As a matter of fact these problems are preventing Somalia’s national development. Global society is in a constant transformation and therefore, an interdependent system has been launched. Thereby, countries became more dependent and each action taken may affect another country which is nearby or hundreds of kilometers away. Thus, the outcome of this system is that it is not possible to stay isolated, so that strengthening intergovernmental relations by creating strong bonds and policies with other countries are crucial necessities in order to survive within this system. Since Somalia situates in a continent which possesses vast possibilities and rich sources, fortified international policies will play vital roles as a significant component for security as well as for the national growth. This study aims to shed a light on the various challenges that Somalia has been confronted with and is in challenge with by the perspective of security concept and its evolution throughout the years. After stressing these concepts, historical background of the country and challenges it preserves within itself which is preventing the development will be argued. Somalia’s political challenges are going to be broadly discussed under this research. Finally, this thesis supports the idea of reconciliation and reunification to improve and strengthen national development in Somalia.

  BTT values prescribed for the certain vegetable oils comes under the mandatory food laws in some countries but due to development towards hybridization in oil seeds, reconsideration in laws is required. In this study an attempt has been made to investigate the applicability of BTTT to different brands of filtered groundnut oils obtained from different parts of India and thereby examine the influence of geographical variations on BTTT. In the present work, the filtered groundnut oils used for analysis, such as Filtered groundnut oil(40.2) (Fgn, Tirupati),Filtered groundnut oil(40.2) (Fgn1,Ankur), Filtered groundnut oil(40.2) (Fgn2,Kanak), Filtered groundnut oil(40.5)(Fgn3,Dhaara),Filtered groundnut oil (40.0) (Fgn4,Dammani), Filtered groundnut oil(40.0)(Fgn5, fortune),Filtered groundnut oil (40.1) (Fgn6,gemini) and Filtered groundnut oil(40.2) (Fgn7,Rani), Filtered groundnut oil(40.2) (Fgn8,postlite) and Pure groundnut oil(40.5) (Pgn, Ekta) exhibited BTT in the range of 40.0 40.50C. The result have demonstrated the reproducibility through the analyzed data. Hence It is observed that filtered groundnut oils fulfils BTTT values as per Regulation (Food Products and Standards) 2011 of Food Safety Standards and Act 2006. The standard mean error is in between 0.15-0.23 in case of BTT.
