Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to identify improved gating system of windmill hub. The windmill hub is a portion of windmill which houses the bearing and contains blades. Here we made some modifications in gating system and find a suitable design by various factors. The study is done in on the basis of manufacturing of windmill hub at Autokast Ltd Cherthala. Here the windmill hub has a pouring weight of 2250kg. The calculations are modified on the basis of this weight.
