Web mining is one of the techniques of data mining to extract information or knowledge from Web. Web data processing is a method of handling enormous amount of data. Web mining is used for identify patterns which is to be required by the users. Web mining second phase is web content mining which addressed mining of text, pictures and various multimedia documents. The central purpose of web content mining is to identify accordant content as per queries. In this research work web pages are extracted by applying patterns and rules and hence carried out it performance metrics. Here web mining categories and web content mining tools and techniques are broadly classified.
