This project describes the functioning of Smart Voting System which is highly secure because it is having biometric authentication using finger print. The fingerprint device reads the finger print details from the Candidate and these finger print will be validated with finger print which is linked in AADHAR ID. The process will be done through the finger print information is passed to the controlling unit for the verification and the controllers reads finger print details from the finger print reader and then it compare the readed finger print with the already existing finger print in AADHAR database. Once validation is successful, it allows candidate to vote and if validation is not successful, it will not allow candidate to vote. In above both cases SMS will be sending to Candidate using GSM technology about their polling status.
